Electric power rockers DÄTCHA MANDALA unleash mind-awakening « Stick It Out » video; new album ‘Hara’ out June 5th via Mrs Red Sound.

70s heavy blues trio DÄTCHA MANDALA unveil their bold and awakening new video taken from their new album ‘Hara’ Mrs Red Sound — which release has been postponed to June 5th. Watch « Stick It Out » now courtesy of Visions Magazin.

Within nine years, DÄTCHA MANDALA have established as a force to be reckoned with among the French vintage rock scene, through their relentless touring and an impressive, one-off performance at Stade De France arena in Paris. Their new video « Stick It Out » delivers a « blues-laden track, sometimes tinged with psychedelic hard rock, that flirts with garage rock as well as with the 70s and 80s rock metal » (Visions Magazin). In addition to their butt-kicking hard rock sound, the video stages the ever-worrying earth pollution induced by human waste.

High voltage riffs, political and philosophical themes, Robert Plant-like vocals and an overflowing energy perfectly characterize DÄTCHA MANDALA‘s new album « Hara ». On this sophomore LP, the heavy blues trio deliver their strongest, most generous and firmly rock’n’roll record to date. Each one of these songs oozes their unstoppable live energy, and offers a wild ride through the ages of rock’n’roll, from country blues to Bowie-esque digressions and the Beatles’ mighty pop rock ignition.

Says the band: « This new album has been recorded at Studio Black Box (Elder, The Kills, Lysistrata) andStudio Berduquetin France by Clive Martin (Queen, Tom Yorke, The Cure). We wanted to get a more modern sound, and stir analog and digital technologies together. On top of our will to root our blues rock, folk, and tribal sound ever further, ‘Hara’ points out our desire to raise awareness about ecological matters, something strongly topical these days. »

Over the years, French heavy blues trio DÄTCHA MANDALA have found the perfect balance between material and spiritual thoughts, providing a sensorial experience directly inspired by the sonic effervescence of the 70s.
